Matthew slid into a big pit. He also jumped off a trampoline into the big pit. The staff worker said he has never seen a toddler that is daring enough to jump into the pit on their own..that's out Matthew!





Matthew saw a fire truck at out neighborhood park. He climbed on board and tried on a fire hat. He was more interested in the mcgruff.





Matthew pointed across the park at the dog. He pet his nose and after a minute he says "mama, that dog don't talk!". It was cute.




Matthew wanted to check out the police car. He liked the flashing lights.

Matthew rode to school with his old teacher, ms Krystal. It went really well. We asked her to help out on an as needed basis when Andy travels or has early morning meetings. She is also our babysitter and Matthew loves her.

Nanna, Papa, and Mike came in town for a visit over the weekend. They arrived late Friday night after Matthew was in bed. When Matthew woke up he was surprised to see them in the bed in his room. We all went to breakfast at Angelas that morning. Matthew got his hair cut with daddy and enjoyed the lollipop. My parents watched the kids later that evening and Andy and I went out for dinner. I got a new iPhone so I was telling Andy all about it over dinner.

We went to church on Sunday while my parents watched the kids. It was our first time in a while to get there early. Matthew and I went to his friends birthday party on Sunday. Matthew loved seeing his friends. He ran around the gym and all the girls were calling for him "Matthew, Matthew, over here". But he didn't pay much attention to them. He would go over to Macie. When he left the party he said goodbye to all his friends. He was so happy and chatty. He sounded like a little guy "bye bye Eli, see you morning". We are planning a fun birthday party for Matthew in March and I hope all his friends from school show up because he loves playing with them.

Matthew's classmate, Macie, is his favorite friend. The teacher says that they are inseparable. Macie's mom told me that Macie wore a dress with pockets yesterday so that she could pick up acorns with Matthew. We had a playdate at the house on Saturday where Macie came over to play. Matthew was so excited to see her.

Audrey is 2 months old. We went to her dr appointment on February 11th. Her stats are the following:

weight: 12 lbs 3 0z 85%

height: 22.5 inches 70%

head circum: 15 3/8 inches 74%

She is growing fast. She is already wearing 6 months clothes. I looked back at Matthew's measurements at this age and it was very similar. The doctor says that she is healthy and it is common to be larger than average for breast-fed babies.

On Saturday, we had a baby shower called a Sip & See where friends were able to sip mimosas and see Audrey. She was the belle of the ball! She did so well and gave everyone lots of smiles. Mimi, Lori, and Bryan came into town. The weather was beautiful around 70 degrees and everyone ventured outside on our deck around the pool. Andy took Matthew to the YMCA to go for a swim and then on to the park where he played with Arden.
