Dylan's 1st Birthday

We drove to New Braunfels for the weekend to celebrate Dylan's 1st Birthday. Audrey and Matthew were so excited to give her the presents. Matthew had the "class dog" Clifford for the weekend so he will tell his classmates everywhere Clifford went. Audrey snatched Clifford and played with him most of the time.

We floated in the Guadalupe River, ate BBQ, roasted marshmallows for s'mores, and visited with the family. It was a 5 hour drive into the hill country area. We brought Roxy ( long haired dauchsand) back with us to Dallas to stay with us for a little while.

First week of September

Matthew is getting used to his new school and Andy & I are adjusting to the new schedule. Andy leaves the house by 7:15am with Matthew and Audrey. It's early but it is nice for Andy (& myself) to make it to work earlier. I usually pick up Matthew in the evenings from his after school care around 5:30pm and Andy will bring Audrey home since his office is near her school.
