It's been busy at work and at home with our house up for sale. We have to leave it cleaned most of the time now with bookings occurring without much notice. Friday was the first of splash day at the school. Audrey was excited to wear her swimsuit. On Friday nights, we have instituted a tradition at the Bruce household of Family Game Night. We typically play candy land, busy town or checkers. Matthew loves to play games with the family. Audrey is usually only half interested but wins. We made a trip to Target this weekend and picked up chutes and latters. When we pick up Matthew from school he reminds us that Friday night is family game night.
On Saturday, we ran some errands and the kids enjoyed some of them. They liked learning about the mail at the post office. Matthew is full of questions. Andy pulled out the globe and the exercise ball one morning to explain the earth and sun and answer why it stays light out so late during the summer.
We went to a fun birthday party on Sunday at a gymnasium. Audrey enjoyed the trampolines and slides as much as Matthew.
