After Christmas, we put together lots of things. Andy put together the doll house for Audrey, the Star Wars legos for Matthew, and a bench for our shower that came in the mail. Andy won't admit it but he enjoyed it as it gave him a project while watching football on TV. The kids were itching to leave the house so we went to the mall several times. I took them to Irving Mall so that I could get my state inspection done at Firestone. After the car was done, they requested to eat lunch at the Galleria mall so they could play afterwards in the play area and then eat ice cream while watching the ice skaters.
On New Years eve, the weather warmed up and they rode their bikes outside and ate smores at our backyard fireplace. It was nice to spend the holidays in our new home. We feel very blessed and we pray for a healthy and happy new year in 2014!
