We celebrated Easter this year in true Texas fashion- Andy smoked meats in his BBQ smoker. Matthew hunted Easter eggs in the backyard. Audrey was getting a growth spurt and took a very long nap after sleeping through the night. Andy and I went to Ruths Chris on Saturday night and enjoyed celebrating a friends' new job. Ms Krystal babysat for us. She does a great job handling 2 kids. We invited her over for Easter lunch, too. Matthew asked her to read the Easter story to him.
Matthew likes to ask "why" all the time! He is a curious little boy. We went to the evening church service and then to our favorite frozen yogurt place. On Friday, I was off from work but Andy had to work. Matthew and Audrey stayed home with me. I went to get my haircut and they did pretty well. Audrey was fussy but we made it through. Matthew played with a puzzle and got his hair cut, too. Now that he turned 3 years old we feel like he acts more mature. It is a pleasant change.
